Anna Sadie Fantozzi

Anna Sadie Fantozzi, age 90, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Twp., NJ.  

She was born on March 13, 1929 in Mayfield, PA.  She resided at Rolling Hills since April 2018, moving from Belvidere, NJ where she lived for 8 years.  Prior to that, she lived at The Easton Home in Easton, PA.  

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Versace Gomes.

Her beloved husband, Philip Fantozzi, passed away in 2006.

Anna worked as an Operator for NJ Bell in Newark, NJ until her retirement in 1966.

Memberships include the Red Hat Society and the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes in Springfield/Summit, NJ.  Anna also worked on the Board of Elections for many years.

Anna enjoyed entertaining, baking and working in her gardens.  She also loved to travel – Italy was her favorite destination.  She also enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

Survivors include one son; Philip Fantozzi, Jr. and his wife Nancy Gale of Tewksbury Twp., NJ.  One brother; Donald Gomes and his wife Arlene of Kearny, NJ.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased in addition to her husband by one son; Joseph Carl Fantozzi who passed away in 1982.  Four siblings; Patrick Gomes, Joseph Gomes, Frances ‘Tootsie’ Moreiko and Mary ‘Dee’ D’Olivera.

Calling hours have been changed, due to the weather, to Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 9am – 11am with Funeral Service at 11am.  All will take place at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
