Kathleen 'Kathy' Alice Hoffman

Kathleen ‘Kathy' Alice Hoffman, age 76, of High Bridge, NJ passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. She was born on December 5, 1942 in Somerville, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County. She was the daughter of the late William N. and Elnora Bittenbenger Trimmer. Kathy was the wife of Richard Bradley Hoffman, celebrating 42 years of marriage. Kathy was a graduate of High Bridge High School, class of 1960. After she graduated from a High School, Kathy worked for the phone company in High Bridge. She went on to pursue a 30 year career at the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton, NJ. After her retirement, she worked at Walmart in Clinton, NJ as a cashier. Memberships include High Bridge Reformed Church where she was a lifelong member. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Hobart #63 in High Bridge, NJ. Kathy loved to play on the computer, play bingo and go bowling. Survivors in addition to her loving husband include three brothers; Robert C. Trimmer of Kingwood Twp., NJ, William N. Trimmer Jr. of Annandale, NJ and John D. Trimmer of Ringoes, NJ. Many nieces and nephews including; Joanne, Laura, Colleen and Angela and William N. Trimmer III. Four grand-nieces and nephews; Katie, Harley, Charlie and Alexandria. Calling hours will be Monday, September 23, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Eastern Star Services at 8pm at Naughright Scarponi Funeral Home, 66 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 11am at High Bridge Reformed Church, 23 Church Street, High Bridge, NJ. Interment at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
