Alan S. Spino

Alan S. Spino, age 61, of Union Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 25, 1961 in Morristown, NJ.  He resided in Union Twp., NJ for the past 3 years, moving from Stewartsville, NJ.

He was the son of the late Charles and Carol Hathaway Spino.

Alan was the husband of Eileen P. Kelly Spino, celebrating 33 years of marriage.

He was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1981 to 1985.

He worked for the Morris County Park Commission until his retirement. 

Alan was an avid NY Giants fan.  Years ago, he enjoyed hunting and was an undefeated boxer during his time in the US Navy.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters who always made him smile. 

Survivors in addition to his loving wife include two sons; Chris Spino and his wife Danielle of Milford, NJ and Andrew Spino and his wife Jenine of Netcong, NJ.  Two granddaughters; Stacy Spino and Lorelai Spino with two more grandchildren on the way.  He is also survived by five sisters-in-law, one niece and several nephews. 

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral service will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11am.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will follow at Bloomsbury Cemetery in Bloomsbury, NJ.
