Alexander Robert Sawicki, age 73, of Alexandria Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at home.
He was born on March 13, 1951 in Plainfield, NJ. He spent his childhood in South Plainfield, NJ and resided in Alexandria Twp. since 1989.
He was the son of the late Alexander and Frances Walyga Sawicki.
He was the husband of Lori Lear Sawicki, celebrating 36 years of marriage.
Alexander was an Engineer for L. A. Dreyfus Company (part of the Wrigley brands) in Edison, NJ for 32 years until their closure in 2006.
Alexander was an avid golfer. He loved playing golf and especially enjoyed his annual golf trip to NC with the crew, always with a good cigar in hand. He also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Atlantic City for a good show and a little gambling. He will forever be remembered for being very handy and a wonderful friend and inspiration to those he loved.
Survivors in addition to his loving wife include one brother; Allan Sawicki and his wife Linda. Two sisters; Janice Dmytriw and her husband Marty and Brenda Syzonenko and her husband Paul. Five nephews; Allan Sawicki and his wife Morgan, Jason Sawicki, Christopher Dmytriw, Peter Syzonenko and his wife Beth, and John Syzonenko. He is also survived by a great-niece and great-nephew as well as numerous cousins and many special friends from his extended families.
All services will be private.
