André LeCrann

André Le Crann, age 84, of Tewksbury Twp., NJ passed away on Friday June 2nd, 2023 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. 

He was born on September 26th, 1938 in Gourin, France.  He immigrated to the United States in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army for 6 years. He lived in Bergen County, NJ until moving to Tewksbury Twp. in April of 2022. 

He was the son of the late Eugène and Marie Le Goff Le Crann.

André was the husband of the late Anne-Marie Croizer LeCrann, celebrating 60 years of marriage.

He spent his career in the restaurant business, working as Maître D’hôtel in the Peacock Alley of the Waldorf Astoria as well as working at the Boardroom in NYC until his retirement in 2003. André loved going back to France and enjoyed spending his summers there with family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter; Christine Gorman and her husband John of Tewksbury Twp., NJ.  Two grandchildren; Danielle Marie Giegerich and her husband Luke of Clinton, NJ and Valerie Anne Gorman of Tewksbury Twp., NJ. One great-granddaughter; Margaux Rose Giegerich, Two sisters; Eliane Le Bourg and her husband Eugène of France, and Léa Le Crann. He is predeceased by two sisters; Marie-Claire and Josette Le Crann.

Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 from 4-7pm with funeral service at 4:30pm.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will take place in France.
