Andrew Joseph Rusnak

Andrew ‘Andy’ Joseph Rusnak, age 80, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 26, 1943 in Passaic, NJ.  He spent his childhood in Garfield, NJ and was a graduate of Pope Pius XII High School in Passaic, NJ.  He resided in Clinton Twp., NJ for 38 years.

He was the son of the late Andrew Joseph and Emily Suchon Rusnak.

Andy was the loving devoted husband of Donna Ellen Rusin Rusnak, celebrating 53 years of marriage.

He was a US Army Veteran, serving from 1965 – 1967 during the Vietnam War Era.

Andy was currently employed by At Home Medical in Morris Plains, NJ as the Assistant Manager of DME Warehouse, where he was with the company for twenty-five years. Previously, he was employed by Revlon in Edison, NJ in their Manufacturing & Supervision division for over 30 years.

Andy was a true family man.  He devoted his entire life to his wife and family and is truly missed.  He also loved gardening, landscaping, taking care of his property and lawn.  He enjoyed riding his John Deere Tractor at his home.  He also loved fishing and walking on the beach looking for shells.  Andy was also an avid sports enthusiast.  He enjoyed watching all sports on tv and played softball and ran track in his younger years. Andy also enjoyed music especially Elvis, Roy Orbison and The Righteous Brothers.  Andy will always be remembered for his excellent values, his superb work ethic, and his love for his wife and family.

Survivors in addition to his loving wife include four children; his three daughters, Kristen Donna Klein and her husband Harry of North Caldwell, NJ, Lauren Dorothy Dubur of Miami, FL, Blair Ellen Rusnak-Bakewell and her husband Neal of Annandale, NJ and his son Andrew Rusnak of Annandale, NJ.  Two grandsons; Zander Bakewell and Grayson Bakewell.  Two siblings; Kevin Rusnak and his wife Donna of MI and Jean Richards of NC.  Several nieces and nephews. 

All services will be private.
