Ann J. DiPaolo

Ann J. DiPaolo, age 91, of Raritan, NJ passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

She was born on September 17, 1931 in Somerville, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Manville and Raritan, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Michael and Helene Sobolsk Schurick.

Her beloved husband, Anthony K. ‘Sonny’ DiPaolo passed away in 2003 after 50 years of marriage.

Ann worked as a machine operator at Kleiner Metal in South Plainfield, NJ until her retirement.

Memberships include St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Raritan, NJ.

Ann was a competitive bowler and loved card games. You would often find her playing Solitaire at the table in her free time. She enjoyed playing games during the holidays with her nieces and nephews. Ann also loved going to lunch with her friends and nieces.

Survivors include her son; Brian DiPaolo and his wife Debbie of Raritan, NJ. Three grandchildren; Nicholas, Angela, and Dillon DiPaolo. She is also survived by her brother-in-law; Ronald DiPaolo and his wife Alberta of FL, Sister-in-law; Dolores Pope of PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased in addition to her husband by her brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 4-8pm with Funeral Prayer Service at 7:30pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery.
