Annette May Hanson, age 66, of Bedminster, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ.
Annette was born on March 12, 1960, in Flemington, NJ, to the late John and Shirley (Heed) Hanson. She was a long-time resident of Hunterdon County, having lived in Bedminster, NJ, since 1999.
Early in her career, Annette worked for a travel agency in Pittstown, NJ, before working as a bank teller for Peapack Gladstone in Pluckemin, NJ.
She was an active member of both Califon and High Bridge Methodist Church, where she participated in the choir and bell choir.
Annette was an avid bowler and participated in many bowling leagues over the years, competing in nationals for 30 consecutive years.
Annette is survived by her twin sister, Andrea Ackerman of Piscataway, NJ. She is also survived by her cousin, Gary Hanson, and his wife, Debbie, of Odessa, NY.
Annette was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Patrick Ackerman, who passed away in 2019.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 7pm - 9pm, at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Additional visitation on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 10am – 11am with funeral service at 11am, all at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ.
