Barbara Ann Colonel Carrubba

Barbara Ann Colonel Carrubba, age 64, of Hampton, NJ passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at home.

She was born on December 31, 1958 in the Bronx., NY.  She resided in Hampton since 1999, moving from Flemington, NJ. 

She was the daughter of the late Joseph William and Barbara Madeline Roth Colonel.

She was a Registered Nurses Assistant.  She worked for a doctor’s office and also worked in home healthcare for Homestead Home Health Care Services until her retirement. 

Barbara loved arts and crafts.  She enjoyed working with resin, painting, and crocheting.  She loved gardening and enjoyed listening to music.  She also loved spending time with her sister at her pool and soaking up the sun rays.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors include four children; Crystal Montgomery (Brian Germain) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Gaetano Carrubba III of Hampton, NJ, Barbara Mandigo (Aaron Mandigo) of Hampton, NJ and Kimberly Carrubba (Andre Moye) of Stewartsville, NJ.  Thirteen grandchildren; Giulianna, Lyric, Raymond, Jyzelle, Skyla, Joe, Devin, Alanah, Desmond, Gaetano, Giavanna, Antonio and Ryker.   Two great-grandchildren; La’Jaya and Eliana.  She is also survived by three siblings; Joseph Colonel (Joanne), Mary Farley (Gary) and Michael Colonel (Carol). 

Calling hours will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm with funeral service at 6pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
