Barbara Curtis

Barbara Curtis, age 88, long-time resident of New York, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at The Chelsea at Brookfield in Belvidere, NJ. 

She was born on October 29, 1934 in Bridgeport, CT.  She spent her childhood in CT, and resided in Manhattan and Long Island most of her life before moving to Belvidere, NJ. 

She was the daughter of the late Victory and Mary Alice Gafney Curtis.  Barbara worked for AT&T until her retirement. 

She was very artistic and loved to draw.  She will always be remembered as being a great friend and very fun to be around. 

Survivors include two cousins; Patricia Campbell of Saratoga Springs, NY and Elizabeth Stiles and her husband Theodore of Califon, NJ. 

Predeceased by her son; Curtis Balter and one brother; Victory Curtis. 

All services will be private.
