Barbara ‘Bobbi’ Ann Landon, age 75, of High Bridge, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Bobbi was born on July 5, 1950, in Somerville, NJ, to the late John and Wilma (Manfra) Cox. A lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, she spent her childhood in Califon, NJ before moving to High Bridge, NJ in 1971, where she had lived since.
Bobbi was the beloved wife of Donald ‘Donny’ Landon. Married in September of 1968, the two celebrated 57 years of marriage.
Bobbi worked for United Telephone Company and a commercial dress factory in High Bridge, NJ, before working for Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, NJ, where she served as a supervisor.
Bobbi was a previous member of Califon United Methodist Church in Califon, NJ.
Bobbi was an excellent baker and loved cooking. She also enjoyed sewing. She loved visiting Vermont, where she enjoyed spending time with her close friends.
In addition to her husband, Bobbi is survived by half-sister Frances Wise of Somerville, NJ. Her nephews; William Gares Jr. and Scott Gares and his wife, Rupal Sen. Her niece, Lisa Hart and her husband, William.
Bobbi is predeceased by her sister, Elaine Gares.
