Barbara M. Perry

Barbara M. Perry, age 83, of Lebanon Twp., NJ passed away on September 13, 2022 at home.

She was born on April 8, 1939 in Irvington, NJ.  She resided in Lebanon Twp., NJ for 50 years.

She was the daughter of the late John and Jennie Skola Polewka.

Her husband, Louis F. Perry Jr., passed away in February of 2020 after 60 years of marriage.

Barbara was an Administrator in the Athletic Department at Voorhees High School in Glen Gardner, NJ until her retirement.

Memberships include St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in High Bridge, NJ, the Lebanon Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Society. 

Barbara enjoyed gardening, flowers, and hummingbirds.  She also loved going shopping and to the casino.

Survivors include two children; Nancy L. Rumpf and her husband Randy of Lebanon Twp., NJ and Scott F. Perry of Forked River, NJ.  Four grandchildren; Amy DaSilva and her husband Brian of Plainfield Twp., PA, Matthew Rumpf and his wife Allison of Asbury, NJ, Dylan Carr of Lebanon Twp., NJ and Mark Carr of Lebanon Twp., NJ.  Two great-grandchildren; Brison DaSilva and Olivia DaSilva.  One sister; Kathryn DiNetta and her husband Andrew of Bayville, NJ.  Sister-in-laws; Rosemarie Bruno and her husband Anthony of Lavalette, NJ, Theresa Perry of Bridgewater, NJ and Dorothy Polewka of Bainbridge, NY.

Predeceased in addition to her husband by one daughter; Susan M. Carr who passed away in 2017.  One brother John Polewka. 

Calling hours will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 9am to 11am followed by Funeral Service at 11am at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Entombment at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Annandale, NJ.
