Beatrice Cathcart

Beatrice Cathcart, age 78, of Milford, DE passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Polaris Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Milford, DE.

She was born on July 25, 1944 in Middlesex, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Emery Cleveland and Mary Cima Blackford.

Beatrice was the wife of Arthur Cathcart Sr., married November 2, 1962.

She worked for over 20 years at Tirpok Cleaners in Califon and then finished her working career at Clean Concepts Cleaners in Whitehouse, NJ. 

She was a past member of Middlesex Bible Chapel.

Beatrice enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and mowing her lawn.  Most of all, she adored her family and loved spending time with them. 

Survivors in addition to her loving husband include three children; Arthur Cathcart Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Tracey Cathcart and her partner Pat Freeman and Matthew and his wife Katie.  Six grandchildren; Michael Cathcart and his fiancé Audra, Brandon Cathcart, BJ Freeman and his wife Ali, Kate Silverthorn and her husband Steve, Connor Cathcart and Reagan Cathcart.  One great-grandchild; Shannon Freeman.  She is also survived by five sisters; Victoria Farneski, Anna Burry, Mary Jesperson, Joan Levay and Esther Yengst and her husband Miles.  Many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sister Jeanette and brother Clarkson. 

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 10am – 12pm, with funeral service beginning at 11:30am at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
