Beverly J. Whiteley

Beverly J. Whiteley, age 84, of Burlington, NJ passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Masonic Village at Burlington.

She was born on September 11, 1938 in Somerville, NJ.  She resided in Annandale, NJ for most of her life before moving to Burlington, NJ one year ago.

She was the daughter of the late William and Anna Mae Beers Bell. 

Her beloved husband, Arthur Whiteley, passed away in 2002.

She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ for most of her career. 

Memberships include the Annandale Reformed Church where she also sang in their choir. She also volunteered at the Open Cupboard in Clinton, NJ. 

Beverly had a very outgoing personality and was a social butterfly.  She simply loved life and loved her circle of friends unconditionally.  She would try anything, including ziplining at age 70.  She was also an avid reader and loved traveling and quilting. She loved her schnauzers and leaves behind her beloved dog ‘Maddie’. 

Survivors include two sons; Kenneth Whiteley and his wife Tina of Bellmawr, NJ and David Whiteley and his wife Lori of Agoura Hills, CA.  Seven grandchildren; James, Jack, Judy, Tyler, Jameson, Charlotte and Caroline.  She is also survived by one sister; Sheila. 

Predeceased in addition to her husband includes one son; Bruce Whiteley. 

Calling hours will take place on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 11am to 1pm with Funeral Service at 1pm.  All will take place at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment to follow at Union Cemetery in Lebanon, NJ.
