Carol A. Schmidt

Carol A. Schmidt, age 78, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at home.

She was born on February 21, 1944 in Somerville, NJ.  She resided in Clinton Twp., NJ since 1967, moving from Middlesex, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Adeline Henderson Cella.

She was the wife of Lothar G. Schmidt, celebrating 58 years of marriage.

She worked as a Medical Assistant for various doctors offices and hospitals including Charlestown Family Health Center in Hampton, NJ.

Memberships include Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Annandale, NJ. 

Carol enjoyed playing tennis and badminton.  She also loved doing puzzles.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters; Christine Baumann of Lebanon Twp., NJ and Jennifer Bauersachs and her husband Rolf of Frenchtown, NJ.  One grandson; Michael Stephano of Phillipsburg, NJ.  One sister; Sharon. 

Calling hours will take place on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 2pm-4pm with funeral service at 4pm.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
