Carol Yvonne Stryker-Fraze

Carol Yvonne Stryker-Fraze, age 78, of Tewksbury Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ.
She was born on February 24, 1945 in Somerville, NJ. She spent her childhood in Potterstown, NJ on the Haver family farm, and resided in Tewksbury Twp., NJ for the past 32 years.
She was the daughter of the late John R. and Jennie M. Lindabury Haver. She attended local NJ schools and graduated salutatorian of her high school class.
She was the wife of Richard L. Fraze, celebrating 32 years of marriage.
She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Branchburg, NJ where she served as a leader in the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society organizations. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Carol was a self-proclaimed Jersey girl. She was very active in her family history and enjoyed genealogy. She adored her family and was very involved in her kids’ and grandchildren’s lives. She also loved to travel, send special treats to all her grandchildren and baked rolls which were sought after at many gatherings. Survivors in addition to her loving husband include five children: Sherry McCann and her husband Brian of Virgin, UT, Lee Stryker and his wife Kim of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Susie White and her husband Tim of Eagle Mountain, UT, Margie Hamberlin and her husband Mark of Vienna, VA and Marc Stryker and his wife Whitney of Layton, UT. She is survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by one sister, Margaret Cobb and her husband Charles of Annandale, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Elsie Manners in 2002, and also her former husband, Edward Stryker, who passed away in 2018.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 35 Lamington Road, Branchburg, NJ. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery in Lebanon, NJ.
