Darren Eugene Vollmann

Darren Eugene Vollmann, age 56, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.

He was born on August 30, 1969 in Englewood NJ. 

He was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County.

He was the son of the late architect Herbert, and Eugenia Economides Vollmann, LCSW.

Darren was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, NJ, class of 1987.  He earned his associate’s degree in business from Raritan Valley Community College and also attended Fairleigh Dickinson University.  In 2006, he earned his degree inFitness and Nutrition from Penn Foster Career School.  

Darren worked multiple jobs, over the years, including working for Sneakers Plus in Flemington, Walmart in Flemington, Eastern Seals, and also Hunterdon Medical Center where he worked in the food prep department.  He was always a home chef and loved to cook.

Darren was a jokester, very funny and had a great sense of humor.  He will always be remembered for his jokes and his wonderful smile.  He was very kind and caring.  

In addition to cooking, he enjoyed playing the drums,keyboards, singing, biking, traveling, boating, lawnmowing, garden work, and weightlifting.  

He enjoyed vacationing in Maine.

He is survived by his beloved brother; Christopher Eugene Vollmann of Clinton Twp., NJ as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.

All services will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
