Diana Lee Hockenbury

Diana Lee Hockenbury, age 75, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ passed away on November 27, 2022 at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, PA.

She was born on March 12, 1947 in Somerville, NJ.  She resided in Lopatcong Twp., NJ since 2014, moving from Clinton Twp., NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Stephen Grish Sr. and Margaret L. Greever Grish.

Her beloved husband of 50 years, Lewis ‘Punk’ Hockenbury Jr., passed away in March of 2022.

Diana was a Hairdresser for 40 years, working at Carl’s in High Bridge, NJ for most of her career.

Memberships include the High Bridge Reformed Church, where she became a member at age 13.  Diana was very active in the church.  She was in charge of the Christmas Bizarre, volunteered for every dinner the church hosted, was President of the Ladies Guild and was also an Elder on the Consistory of the Church.   She was also a member since 1981 of the Order of the Eastern Star Hobart Chapter.

Survivors include two brothers; Gary Grish and his wife Laurie of Bath, PA and Stephen Grish and his wife Megan of Fort Myers, FL.  One sister; Linda Shehan and her husband Scotty of Bowling Green, KY.  Six nieces and nephews; Kristina Asimoglou, Scotty Shehan Jr., Kristen Cooper, Jennilee Coots, Stevie Lynn Eaton and Dale Fulper. 

All services will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
