Diane Farrington Macia

Diane Farrington Macia, aged 76, of Hampton, New Jersey passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on June 3rd, 1949, in Morristown, New Jersey, Diane was the daughter of Richard and Betty Farrington. She spent her life devoted to her family, friends, community and many passions and was known for generosity, strength and most of all her kindness. She was a devoted wife of fifty-four years to her husband, Gary; both graduated from Susquehanna University where they met while studying during their junior year at Oxford University in the UK. Diane was a loving mother to her son Nicholas and a cherished grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Diane’s greatest joys came from family gatherings, cooking, reading, volunteering, education, history and traveling. She will be remembered for her warm smile and most of all her selflessness; she was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Diane is survived by her husband, Gary; her son, Nicholas; daughter-in-law, Jessica; her granddaughters, Everlee and Emerson; and her sisters, Debby Farrington and Beth Farrington Statman.  

A service will be held for Diane at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 2 Race Street, Pittstown, NJ on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 11am.  All are welcome to join a celebration of life luncheon following the service beginning at 12:30 PM at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial located at 86 Route 173 West, Hampton, NJ 08827. 

Diane will be deeply missed but never forgotten and loved forever.
