Diane M. Oliveras

Diane M. Oliveras, age 80, of Penns Grove, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 12, 1946, at Salem Hospital in Salem, New Jersey, Diane spent her childhood in Penns Grove before making Phillipsburg her home for the past 2 years.
She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sassi.

Diane dedicated much of her career to the hospitality industry, where she worked as a Housekeeping Manager for Hilton. She was known forher strong work ethic, kindness, and caring nature.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Julio Oliveras, who passed away in 2015, as well as nine siblings, and loving companion Pablo Hernandez.
Diane is lovingly survived by her devoted son, Julio D. Oliveras (Ken Lazier) of Phillipsburg, New Jersey; her daughter, Betty Oliveras of Bear, Delaware; her grandson, Brian Pedrick (Kim Pedrick); her great-grandson, Theodore Pedrick; and her sister, Rita. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Diane found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo, playing cards, and bowling. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and love for those around her will be deeply
missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
