Donald Robert Boyd Jr.

Donald Robert Boyd Jr., age 72, of Chalfont, PA went to be with his Lord & Savior on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his home. 

He was born on October 20, 1951 in Boston, MA.  He spent his childhood in Boston and lived for many years in Ringoes, NJ before moving to Chalfont, PA in 1991. 

He was the son of the late Donald Robert and Clara Joanne Drummey Boyd. 

Donald was the husband of Lucille Kelleher Boyd, celebrating 42 years of marriage.

Before his retirement, he was a self-employed carpenter.  

He was an avid hunter.  He also loved riding his Harley and listening to the Beatles. Most of all, Donald adored his grandsons and loved spending time with them. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include three children; Nicole Boyd of Chalfont, PA, Shawn Boyd of Chalfont, PA and Brian Boyd of Telford, PA.  Three grandsons; Aiden Boyd, Logan Boyd and Carter Boyd.  He is also survived by five siblings; Suzanne Prael and her husband David of Flemington, NJ, Charles Boyd and his wife Maria of Flemington, NJ, Christopher Boyd and his significant other Cindy of Hopewell, NJ, Renee Kolbeck of Three Bridges, NJ and Robert Boyd and his significant other Leslie of Locktown, NJ.  Several nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased in addition to his parents by one brother; Eugene Boyd.

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10am – 12pm with Funeral Service at 12pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment following at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
