Donald Albert Woodhull, age 73, of High Bridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at his sister’s home, surrounded by his loving family.
Donald was born on January 1, 1953, in Morristown, NJ, to the late John and Frances (Conklin) Woodhull. He was a longtime resident of High Bridge, NJ.
Donald worked as a machine operator for WestRock in Flemington, NJ.
Donald was a hard worker and took pride in his work. He had a passion for art, having loved working with clay, drawing, and painting. He loved playing guitar, as well as riding on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed working on and detailing cars, which he did for a period of time in Pennsylvania. He adored his 1973 Chevy Nova, which he rebuilt himself with the help from friends and family.
Donald is survived by his three siblings: John Woodhull Jr. and his wife, Maryann, of Frenchtown, NJ; Sue Ellen Protich and her husband, Pete, of Lebanon, NJ; and Faith Joy Coughlan and her husband, Joe, of High Bridge, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donald is predeceased by his daughter, Karen, who passed away in January of 2021.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 10am-12pm, followed by a funeral service at 12pm, at Naughright-Scarponi Funeral Home, 66 Main St., High Bridge, NJ. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Cokesbury, NJ.
