Donna A. Grasso

Donna A. Grasso, age 69, of High Bridge, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. 

Donna was born on June 9, 1956, in Elizabeth, NJ, to the late Donald and Phyllis (Cronan) Doherty. For the past 39 years, she has resided in High Bridge, NJ. 

Her beloved husband,  Michael A Grasso, passed away in 2003.  They shared 23 years of marriage. 

Donna worked as a bookkeeper for A&P and later as a bank teller for Roselle Bank in High Bridge, NJ.

Donna was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in High Bridge, NJ. 

Donna loved spending time at the beach. She loved reading and watching true crime shows, as well as the Hallmark Channel. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. 

Donna is survived by her three loving children: Dominique Calvert and her husband, Rob, of Glen Gardner, NJ; Nicole Groover and her husband, Jeremy, of High Bridge, NJ; and Michael C. Grasso and his wife, Amanda, of Warwick, NY. Her beloved grandchildren, Landon, Kinsley, and Colby. Her three sisters: Michelle Gorski and her husband, Stephen, of PA; Karen Merchant and her husband, Don, of TX; and Jackie Rillo and her husband, Tim, of SC. Her three sisters-in-laws: Arleen Sannitti and her husband, Tony, of East Hanover, NJ; Christine Grasso of Whippany, NJ; and Donna Grasso of East Hanover, NJ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will take place on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 6-8pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11am. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main St., Lebanon, NJ. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ.
