Doris Beers Cramer

Doris Beers Cramer, age 92, of Clinton, NJ passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at home.

She was born on November 24, 1927 in Neshanic, NJ.  She was a life-long resident of New Jersey and of Clinton, NJ for 71 years.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn Bahr Beers.

Her husband, Edwin H. Cramer, passed away in 1992 after 45 years of marriage.

Before her retirement in 1982, Doris was a School Business Administrator for Clinton Township Schools.

Doris was a life-long member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church where she was taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and leaves behind many beloved friends.  She was also a longtime member of the Flemington Lions Club and Hunterdon Hills Lions Club where she was also Past-President.  She was very active in the Lions District.  The Lions Club was her passion.

She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises.  She also loved to paint.

Survivors include her daughter; Susan Cramer of Long Beach, NY and her granddaughter; Devon DeVitto of Doylestown, PA.  

Predeceased in addition to her husband include her brother; Kenneth Gaddis.

Calling hours will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10am at Clinton Presbyterian Church, 91 Center Street, Clinton, NJ.  Interment at Union Cemetery in Lebanon, NJ.
