Doris M. Schuetz

Doris M Schuetz, age 98, lifelong resident of High Bridge, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.

She was born on August 28, 1921 in High Bridge, NJ. 

She was the daughter of the late Truman and Lucetta Walton Monn.

Her husband, Irving J. Schuetz, passed away in 1994.

While Doris was a housewife, she also took on small jobs as a seamstress.

Memberships include High Bridge Reformed Church where she was a member for over 80 years, serving as an Elder and on the Consistory.  Doris was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Hobart Chapter #63 in High Bridge, NJ.  She was a member for 68 years, during that time she served as secretary for 37 years, and was past Matron and past Grand Officer.  

Survivors include one son; Alan L. Schuetz and his wife Eileen of High Bridge, NJ.  Six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild on-the-way.

Predeceased in addition to her husband by one son; Wayne D. Schuetz who passed away on July 18, 2020.  Two brothers; Truman Monn and Carl Monn.

Due to the ongoing COVID concerns, all services will be private.
