Dorothy V. Ryan

Dorothy V. Ryan, age 95, longtime resident of Middlesex, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at home.

She was born on March 20, 1929 in Somerville, NJ.  She spent most of her life in Middlesex, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Pascal and Anna Vobis Orlando.

Her beloved husband, Jerome F. Ryan passed away many years ago.

In her early years, Dorothy worked as a Telephone Operator.  Later, she worked at the YMCA in Somerville, NJ in their Infant Care Room.

Dorothy enjoyed listening to Michael Buble, gardening, feeding the squirrels and going to Atlantic City.  She also loved playing words with Friends with her friend Connie.

Survivors include her daughter; Nancy Devine of High Bridge, NJ. 

Predeceased in addition to her husband by her son; Timothy Ryan and her brother; Robert Orlando.

Graveside service will take place on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11am at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 899 E. Lincoln Avenue, Piscataway, NJ.
