Duane James Barclay

Duane James Barclay, age 62, of Holland Twp., NJ passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

He was born on November 1, 1960 in Morristown, NJ.  He resided for most of his life in Lebanon, NJ and Whitehouse, NJ.

He was the son of Linda Fajnor Barclay of Lebanon, NJ and the late James J. Barclay Jr.

He was a member of 825 operating engineers and worked for Vollers in Branchburg, NJ until his retirement. He was a 3rd generation operator.

Duane enjoyed dirt track racing and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  Most of all, he adored his beloved dog, Princess.

Survivors in addition to his mother include one daughter; Amie Yannarella and her husband Carmen of Hampton, NJ.  Two grandchildren; Sawyer Yannarella and Bentley Yannarella.  One sister; Melinda Barclay of Holland Twp., NJ.  One brother; Robert Barclay and his wife Jamie of Lebanon, NJ.  Many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. 

Calling hours will take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 4pm – 7pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ.
