Edward P. Karvanick, age 75, longtime resident of High Bridge, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at VA Lyons Campus Hospital in Lyons, NJ.
He was born on September 3, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA. He resided in High Bridge, NJ for most of his life.
He was the son of the late Peter and Irene Surdyk Karvanick.
Edward proudly served as a Sergeant in the US Air Force.
He retired from Lyons VA Hospital where he was a Transportation Manager.
Edward was an active coach and mentor for the North Hunterdon Little League and High Bridge Huskies Football programs for many years. He was well known and liked by all and will always be remembered for his smile and generosity to others.
Survivors include one son; Chip A. Karvanick and his wife Dawn of High Bridge, NJ. He is also survived by one sister; Renee Longo and her husband Bill of Pittsburgh, PA. Many beloved nieces, one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Predeceased by one son; Peter S. Karvanick who passed away in 1988.
All services will be private.
