Eleanor M. Clawson

Eleanor M. Clawson, age 94, of Califon, NJ passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Little Brook Nursing Home in Califon, NJ.

She was born on April 14, 1927 in Pottersville, NJ.  She resided in Califon for most of her life.

She was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Rowe McCrea.

Her husband, Preston Clawson, passed away in February 2009. 

Eleanor was the Assistant Vice President of United National Bank in Califon, NJ for 33 years.

Memberships include Lower Valley Presbyterian Church in Califon, NJ and the Tewksbury Seniors Club.

Survivors include two sisters; Ida Mae Schmidt of Pottersville, NJ and Marilyn Sutton of Clinton Twp., NJ.   Several nieces and two nephews. 

Calling hours will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 1pm – 2pm with funeral service at 2pm.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment at Fairmount Cemetery, Route 517, Califon, NJ.
