Elizabeth Ihling Obituary

Elizabeth Louise Ihling, age 66, of Easton, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.

She was born on February 27, 1956 in Plainfield, NJ.  She resided in Hunterdon County for many years before moving to the Lehigh Valley in PA.

She was the daughter of the late Frederick W. Spencer III and Elizabeth Ann Burr Spencer.

Elizabeth was a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School, class of 1974.

She retired as a Secretary at Generations to Come Financial Advisor Inc. in Union Twp., NJ.  Prior to that, she worked at Spring Garden Children’s School in Easton, PA for many years and also ‘Your Money Matters’ in Annandale, NJ.  

Memberships include Legacy Ministries in Easton, PA and also Shiloh Church in Easton, PA where she was a current member.

In her younger years, she was very active with 4H and she worked at several horse farms in Tewksbury Twp.  

Elizabeth enjoyed doing word searches and reading.  She especially loved reading the Bible.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking her grandchildren to parks when they were younger.  She loved going to Church and helping people.  She always put everyone else before herself and enjoyed taking care of others.  

Survivors include her daughter; Aimee Marie Freiwald Rush of Bethlehem, PA.  Four grandchildren; Morgan Elizabeth Rush (age 18), Owen Spencer Makuvek (age 10), Preston Christopher Freiwald (age 13) and Rylan Daniel Freiwald (age 10).  She is also survived by one sister; Virginia Ann Spencer-Balde of Catasauqua, PA.  One nephew; Aiden Douglas Balde (age 27).  

Predeceased by her son; Daniel Christopher Freiwald who passed away in 2014.

All services will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
