Gary Holloway, age 56, of Tewksbury Twp., NJ passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at home.
He was born on January 19, 1966 in Boksburg, South Africa. He lived in Tewskbury Twp., NJ for 12 years, moving from California and South Africa.
He was the son of the late Ivan and Barbara Holloway.
Gary was the husband to Michael Coiro, celebrating 27 years of partnership.
Since a very young age, Gary was a top performing scholar who excelled academically with distinction.
While still at school , Gary was elected as the Deputy Junior Mayor of Boksburg.
He served in the South African military in the medical unit.
For the majority of his career, Gary worked as a corporate executive in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2002 he was already excelling in mergers and acquisitions in his industry. He retired from Allergan after serving as the President of Pharmaceutical Operations, specializing in the company’s division in Japan after being with the company for 25 years.
Gary enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and playing the piano. He loved his pets, especially his beloved dogs.
Survivors in addition to his husband include one brother; Allan Holloway and his wife Tercia of South Africa. One sister; Sharon Lindeque and her husband Eric of South Africa. Several beloved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his in-laws; Rose and Luigi Coiro of Whiting, NJ.
A celebration of Gary’s life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
