George Michael Link, age 68, of High Bridge, NJ passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.
He was born on March 20th, 1953, in Monmouth Memorial Hospital, in Long Branch, NJ.
He was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Link.
He worked as a building mechanic for AT&T in Piscataway, NJ, and worked there for over 40 years.
George loved to fish, loved tinkering and fixing things, enjoyed helping his neighbors, and being friendly and kind. He also loved watching television with his family and close friends. He rarely missed a Yankees game.
George loved superheroes, especially Superman. But to those who knew him best, he was Superman.
Survivors include his two sons, George W. Link, with his wife Jill Link of Califon, and Adam Link of High Bridge. One grandson; Mason Link. Six siblings; Don Yuhasz, Bob Yuhasz (Nancy), Kenneth Link (Patty), Barbara Dixon (Jeff), Karen McTigue (Brian) and Nancy Coyle (Steve). Several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one brother, Billy Yuhasz.
Calling hours will take place on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, from 1pm to 3pm, with funeral service at 3pm. All at Naughright-Scarponi Funeral Home, 66 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ. Internment will be Monday, September 27th, 2021 at 12pm at Hollywood Memorial Park, 15 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ.
