Gertrude “Trudy” Feil

Gertrude "Trudy" Feil, age 86, of Palm Coast, Florida, (formerly of Lebanon Township, NJ), passed away on August 26, 2024, at Harbor Chase of Palm Coast. Born on July 2, 1938, in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Frieda Bolzner.

Trudy dedicated her entire working career to banking, retiring as a branch manager. In 2005, she moved to Ormond Beach, Florida, where she became a valued volunteer with the AdventHealth Hospital System.

Trudy had a passion for gardening, reading, golfing and solving crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling, including cruising and spending time at her timeshare in Mexico. She was married to Friedemann Murle from 1958 to 1968. Her marriage to Leo Gorny in December 1978 ended with his passing in December 1998. She later married Albert Feil in the summer of 2004, who preceded her in death in October 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan, and her husband Bruce Kroeschell; grandsons, Tyler (and his wife Laura), Quincy (and his fiancée Jill Purick), and Grant Kroeschell; her sister, Hilda (and her husband Norman Dietsch); as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Harbor Chase Memory Care & Gentiva Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Trudy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Interment will be private at New Germantown Cemetery in Oldwick, NJ.
