Grazia Tripoli

Grazia Tripoli, age 91, longtime resident of Middlesex, NJ passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Somerset Woods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Somerset, NJ.

She was born on September 10, 1930 in Bagheria, Italy.  Grazia immigrated to the United States in 1972 with her beloved husband.  She resided at Somerset Woods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center since January of 2019, moving from Middlesex, NJ. 

She was the daughter of Antonino and Maria Trioli Trupia.

Her loving husband, Cosimo Tripoli passed away in 1985 after 41 years of marriage.

Grazia loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three children; Antonino Tripoli and his wife Isabella, Maria Sciortino and her husband Gregorio and Ignazio Tripoli and his wife Maria Enrica.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren; Cosimo, Giuseppe, Graziella, Salvina, Cosimo, Cosimo, Michelangelo, Graziella and Mariella.  Seventeen great-grandchildren.

Predeceased in addition to her husband by one daughter; Tommasa Tripoli, and son-in-law; Mercurio D’Amore.  She is also predeceased by two grandsons; Giuseppe Tripoli and Vittorio Tripoli.  Two sisters and two brothers. 

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10am at Our Lady Mount Virgin Catholic Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ.  Interment at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook, NJ.
