Heinz Richard Christ

Heinz Richard Christ, age 95, of Clinton Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at home. 

Heinz was born on May 1, 1930, in Neuwied, Germany, to the late Richard and Emmy (Ortmueller) Christ. In 1954, Heinz came to the United States and spent the majority of his life in Long Island, NY. For the past 20 years, he has resided in Annandale, NJ. 

Heinz was the beloved husband of Anita Franciska Zintl Christ. Married in 1960, they shared 65 years of marriage. 

Heinz worked for Loral Space & Communications in Hauppauge, NY, as a Quality Assurance Specialist. 

Heinz loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed working in his garden. He was always very active throughout his life. 

In addition to his wife, Heinz is survived by his two children, Richard Christ of Califon, NJ, and Helga Reina and her husband, Biagio, of Annandale, NJ. His six grandchildren are Caleb, Kelsey, Robert, Nicholas, Timothy, and Kathryn. His great-granddaughter, Bria Rose Christ. And his niece, Christel Kaiser. 

Heinz is predeceased by his two sisters, Margot and Hilde.
