Henry “Hank” S. Kaminski, age 85, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
He was born on December 3, 1937 in Harrison, NJ. He spent his childhood in Harrison and resided in Clinton since 1977.
He was the son of the late Henry and Alfreda Winciss Kaminski.
His beloved wife, Mary Lou Mariconda Kaminski passed away on March 26, 2020 after 54 years of marriage.
Henry was a US Merchant Marine Veteran, serving from 1957 – 1960.
Henry was a Long Shoreman/Terminal Manager for ACL Container Company in Port Elizabeth, NJ.
He enjoyed model railroads, woodworking, reading, gardening and loved nautical ships. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and fish pond. He and his wife enjoyed going to the Jersey shore, especially Cape May, NJ to spend time with family. He also enjoyed going to his grandson’s sporting events.
Over the years he donated his time and skills as a carpenter to local community organizations including the Phillipsburg Railroad Historians. For several years he was a member of the Merchant Marine Association and served as Vice President.
Survivors include three sons; Thomas H. Kaminski and his wife Tina of Charleston, SC, Daniel L. Kaminski and his wife Anne of Lebanon Twp., NJ and Christopher M. Kaminski and his wife Renata of Holland Twp., NJ. Five grandchildren; Kevin, Jeffery, Brandon, Lukas and Nikolas. Step-grandchildren; Olivia, Shelby and Paige. One great-grandson’ Jason. She is also survived by her sister; Dorris Pasanchin of IN.
All services will be private at this time. Arrangements by Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
