James ‘Jimmy’ Pellegrino Pellecchia IV

James ‘Jimmy’ Pellegrino Pellecchia IV, age 36, of Union Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at home.

He was born on June 28, 1988 in Glen Ridge, NJ.  He was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County.

He was the son of Pellegrino James Pellecchia III and Susanna Reboa Pellecchia of Union Twp., NJ.

He was the husband of Patricia Ann Schultzel Pellecchia, celebrating eighteen years together and nine years of marriage.

Jimmy was a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, NJ, class of 2007.  He went on to earn two associate degrees from Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, NJ.  

Jimmy worked for many years as a medical assistant at Mid Jersey Orthopedics until 2022.  He was currently employed as a Formulator for QuVa Pharmaceuticals in Bloomsbury, NJ.  He will always be remembered for being a hard worker.  

Memberships include St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Pittstown, NJ.  

Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the gym.  He was very involved with Martial Arts over the years. He also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and playing videogames.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved 9-year-olddaughter.  

Survivors in addition to his parents and his wife include one daughter; Kayley Pellecchia.  Two step children; Ana Lopez and Michael McKenney.  Two sisters; Nicole Pellecchia Hohnau and her husband James of Wayne, NJ and Erica Pellecchia and her fiancé Katarina Kostic of Richboro, PA.  Numerous beloved Aunts, Uncles and cousins.  He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law; Andrea and David Dilts of Hampton, NJ. Sister-in-laws; Angela Schultzel (Joseph Kresefsky) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Jamie Woolf of Hampton, NJ and Krystal Heron (Brad) of Gainesville, FL. Niece; Isabella Kresefsky and nephews; Raymond Schultzel and Luke Heron. 

Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 2 White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ.  Interment will be private.
