JoAnn Hand, 78, of Lebanon, NJ, formerly of Summit, NJ, died July 19, 2023.
Born July 14, 1945 in Irvington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anne (Dombroski) Murray.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, William Hand.
JoAnn worked for many years as a corporate trainer for Allstate Insurance Co, Murray Hill, NJ. She was also a donor recruiter for the Atlantic Health Blood Bank in Summit, NJ.
Her legendary sense of humor was intact until the very end. JoAnn enjoyed the various cats she rescued through the years. She was always up for whatever live sports were on, or a good book. She worked so hard yet made her family perfect weeknight dinners (like chuckwagon beans). She loved family vacations and adored her grandkids.
JoAnn is survived by a son, Kevin and his wife Gina of Clinton Township, NJ; two daughters, Jennifer and her wife Michelle Ping of St. Augustine, Florida and Abigail Hand and her husband Matthew Ping of Brick, NJ and three grandchildren, Riley, Charley and Nick Hand.
Visitation will be held 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in the Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main St, Lebanon, NJ.
Donations in JoAnn's name to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Ave., Madison, NJ 07940 would be appreciated by the family. https://www.sthuberts.org/donate
