JoAnn Yagodich, age 80, of Raritan Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Independence Manor in Raritan Twp., NJ.
She was born on May 30, 1944 in Flemington, NJ. She spent many years in High Bridge, NJ and lived at Beaver Brook and Phillipsburg, NJ before moving to Independence Manor in 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Donald and Geraldine Conover Gardner.
Her beloved husband, William Yagodich, passed away in 2005.
JoAnn worked as an Account Manager at Unity Bank in Clinton, NJ until her retirement. Previously she had worked in Human Resources in Connecticut.
JoAnn loved antiques, getting together with friends, listening to country music and cooking. Years ago, she enjoyed exercising. Most of all she loved her grandchildren. They were her whole world.
Survivors include two children; David H. McFarlin and his wife Samantha Prince of Forks Twp., PA and Robin A. Triano of Alexandria Twp., NJ. Three grandchildren; Jenna Triano, Callie Triano and Lillian McFarlin. One brother; Ronald Gardner Sr. One niece; Patricia Mielo. Three nephews; Ron Gardner Jr., David Gardner and Brian Gardner. She was also survived by her best friend, Tina Totten of North Plainfield, NJ.
JoAnn also leaves behind many wonderful friends that became like family to her from Independence Manor. The family wishes to extend their utmost gratitude to the staff at Independence Manor for the exceptional care given to JoAnn.
Calling hours will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 3-7pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 10am. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
