John Joseph Cima

John Joseph Cima, age 85, of Readington Twp., NJ passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 with family by his side.

He was born on May 17, 1937 in Somerville, NJ.  He resided in Readington Twp., NJ since 1964.

He was the son of the late Mario and Dorothy Corbo Cima.

His beloved wife, Cecelia Ann Bernhardt Cima, passed away on May 14, 2012 after 51 years of marriage.

John spent his career working as a Serviceman for Culligan Water in Union, NJ until his retirement in 2002.

One of John’s loves was fishing.  He also enjoyed creating stained glass in his younger years. He made many beautiful pieces that he shared with friends and family.  He also loved doing things around the house and fixing things.

Survivors include one son; John Cima of Bethlehem, PA.  One daughter; Jodi Granduke and her husband Gerald of Lebanon, NJ.  One grandson; Gerald John Granduke of Clinton, NJ.  He is also survived by one sister; Patricia Mazzei of Jackson, NJ.

Predeceased in addition to his wife by one sister; Lois Comtess.  

Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral service will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11am.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment at Mountain View Cemetery in Cokesbury, NJ.
