Joseph Clark Obituary

Joseph Daniel Clark, age 37, of Branchburg, NJ passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on September 25, 1983 in New Rochelle, NY.  He spent his early years in Deal and Asbury Park.  He also resided for many years in Westfield and Springfield, NJ.

He was the son of the late Lori Lowenstein-Mase who passed away in May of 2020.

Joseph graduated from Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield, NJ and also earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ.

Joseph loved sports.  He especially enjoyed Rutgers University Athletics.  Joseph also enjoyed music and spending time at home with his family.  He was always very close with his mother and was devastated when she lost her battle with cancer in 2020. 

He was extremely intelligent and very good with numbers.  He worked on Wall Street years ago.  He will always be remembered for having a very big heart. 

Survivors include his step-father; Thomas Mase of Westfield, NJ.  Four siblings; Tyler Mase and his wife Francesca of High Bridge, NJ, Samantha Mase of Westfield, NJ, Jake Mase of Westfield, NJ and Nick Mase of Westfield, NJ.  Maternal grandmother; Toby Lowenstein of Boca Raton, FL.  Aunts; Wendi Jacobson and her husband Eric of Los Angeles, CA and Gaye Lowenstein and her partner Dori Friedman of Los Angeles, CA.   Numerous cousins.  Additional family members; Larry and Laurie Lowenstein of Red Bank, NJ.

Predeceased in addition to his mother by his maternal grandfather; Daniel ‘Doc’ Lowenstein.  Uncle and Aunt; Cary and Lynn Lowenstein. 

All services will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
