Judith ‘Judy’ M. Santoro, age 87, of Califon, NJ passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at home.
She was born on September 6, 1937 in Lancaster, PA. She spent her childhood in Lancaster and lived in Califon since 1970.
She was the daughter of the late Ellis Park and Dorothy Weaver Linville.
Judy was the wife of Vincent N. Santoro, celebrating 59 years of marriage.
She was a Registered Nurse, working for Glenlora Nursing Home in Chester, NJ for many years until her retirement.
Memberships include Fairmount United Methodist Church in Califon, NJ where she was currently Financial Secretary.
Judy was passionate about animals. She was very involved with the World Wildlife Fund and the ASPCA. She also loved cooking, especially hosting large family meals and holidays. Judy enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. She also was a die-hard Yankees and Eagles fan.
Survivors in addition to her loving husband include two children; John Ellis Santoro ‘Jes’ and his wife Danielle of Darien, CT and Elizabeth Thorsten and her husband Chris of Mill Hall, PA. Three grandchildren; Chase Santoro, Sloan Santoro and Jeremiah Thorsten.
Calling hours will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 4-6pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Funeral service will be Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11am at Fairmount United Methodist Church, 228 Old Turnpike Road, Califon, NJ. Interment at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
