Karl Henry Kroeschel, age 83, lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.
He was born on May 17, 1936 in Elizabeth, NJ.
He was the son of the late Henry and Zita Moasmer Kroeschel.
Karl graduated from St. Philip & St. James Catholic High School in Phillipsburg, NJ and then attended Churchman’s Business School.
He served with the U.S. National Guard from 1958 to 1964.
Karl spent his career as a Business Owner/Restauranteur. He owned and operated the Coach n’ Paddock in Hampton, NJ until his retirement.
Memberships include Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale, NJ, North Hunterdon Rotary Club and Union Twp. Senior Citizens. He also volunteered at Hunterdon Medical Center and was instrumental in getting Hunterdon Hospice operational.
Survivors include eight nephews and their families. Many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Predeceased in addition to his parents by one sister; Norma Spinks.
Calling hour will take place on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 11am to 12pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private.
