Kevin John Wolf

Kevin John Wolf, age 57, of Greenwich Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family. 

Kevin was born on March 29, 1969, in Phillipsburg, NJ.  He was the son of the late John and Jane (Devlin) Painter. He grew up in Hampton, NJ, and for the past 30 years, has resided in Stewartsville, NJ. 

Kevin was the beloved husband of Valerie C. Kiddish Wolf. They were together for 36 years, having celebrated 31 years of marriage. 

Early in his career, Kevin worked for Hicks Paving in Hampton, NJ. He worked for Tilcon New York Inc. in road construction out of Newark, NJ for the past 25 years as a member of Union #472. 

He was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Alpha, NJ. 

Kevin had a big heart and is remembered for his kindness towards others. Affectionately nicknamed ‘Angel’ by his siblings as a child, he would help anyone in need. He was a devoted provider, always making sure that his loved ones were cared for and supported. He was also an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed watching football. 

In addition to his loving wife, Kevin is survived by his beloved daughters, Abigail Wolf and Sarah Wolf and her boyfriend, Ryan Jones of Stewartsville, NJ. His siblings: Kelly Pierson and her husband, Rick, of Nazareth, PA; Tracy Squicciarini and her husband, Pete, of Clermont, FL; Kyle Vishnesky and her husband, Ted, of Hampton, NJ; Rae Jeffreys and her husband, Harry, of Holland Twp., NJ; Paul Wolf and his wife, Joanne, of Phillipsburg, NJ; Patrick Wolf and his wife, Jennifer, of Pen Argyl, PA; Jennifer Geary and her husband, Matt, of Jinks, OK; and Jack Painter and his wife, Girolama, of Whitehouse, NJ,  John ‘Johnny’ Painter and his wife, Dawn, of Winslow, ME. His mother-in-law, Nancy Kiddish of Lebanon, NJ. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, including and Matthew Devlin of Flemington, NJ. He is also survived by his best friend and father figure, Robert Bachstein of Stewartsville, NJ.

Kevin is predeceased by his brother, Robert Painter, his father-in-law, John Kiddish and brother-in-law, John Robert Kiddish.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 4-8pm, with funeral service at 7pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private.
