Kris E. Hoffman

Kris E. Hoffman, age 62, of High Bridge, NJ passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born on August 13, 1960 in Randolph, NJ.  He was a resident of High Bridge for the past 33 years.

He was the son of Walter Hoffman of Randolph, NJ and the late Jane Mincer Hoffman.

He was the husband of Clare L. Condrack Hoffman, celebrating 34 years of marriage.

Kris earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ  and went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Hunter College in New York City. He was an OSHA Area Director for most of his career, working for OSHA for over 30 years. 

Memberships include the High Bridge Reformed Church where he was also an Elder and served as Treasurer for many years. 

Kris enjoyed botting his own wine, golfing, fishing, and hiking.  He was an avid outdoorsman. 

Survivors in addition to his loving wife, his father and step-mother; Carmella Hoffman, include two sons; Ryan Hoffman of High Bridge and Matthew Hoffman and his fiancé Terin Weinberg of Asbury, NJ.  Two brothers; Tod Hoffman of Cranford, NJ and Timothy Hoffman and his wife Mary of NC.  Three nieces; Jennifer, Melissa and Megan.  One nephew; Jimmy.  Kris is also survived by his beloved dog; Winston. 

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at Naughright-Scarponi Funeral Home, 66 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ.  Funeral Service will be on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 1pm at High Bridge Reformed Church, 23 Church Street, High Bridge, NJ.  Interment will be private.
