Kurt Lutz Obituary

Beloved brother, uncle and doggie dad passed away suddenly while at work on Thurs. Sept. 29, 2022. He was born in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield ,N.J. to Carol R. (2020) & Edmund H. Lutz (2006) and lived his first 5 years in North Plainfield before moving to Lebanon N.J. He attended all the local schools, graduating from North Hunterdon High School / Somerset County Technical Institute in 1991. At 23, he bought his first home and moved to Phillipsburg N.J. then on to Easton, Pa. He worked as a plumber’s assistant for many years at Stashluk Mechanical in Pittstown N.J. before his current job as a machinist at Unicast Inc. Easton, Pa. where he will be sadly missed as a co-worker and friend.

Kurt enjoyed spending most summer weekends at his property in the Poconos. He treasured the times spent with his family, friends and dog Ringo. He especially looked forward to the family dinners on Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was also a civic man, volunteering for years at the Lebanon Fire and Rescue until he moved to Phillipsburg. He also volunteered decades at ARC of Hunterdon County, and especially enjoyed chaperoning the annual cruises.

He is survived by his brother; Thomas L. Stewart-Lutz, and his wife Vera.  Sisters; Donna A. Luna and her husband Victor, Allison L. Walls and her husband David, Beverly L. Cipriano and her husband David R., and Ellen d. McCormick and her husband Ken Miller, and many nieces and nephews. Kurt sadly left behind his beloved rescue Beagle, Ringo, and dear friend Bob Spicer.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 10am to 12pm with funeral service at 12pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
