Lisa Carmel Hiebert

Lisa Carmel Hiebert, born November 20, 1963, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. 

Born in Santa Ana, CA, she was a long time California resident until 2011 when she and her husband, Dean Alan Bymaster, moved to Califon, NJ. 

Celebrating being together for 16 years, the last 7 years married, Lisa was the light and soul of Dean’s life.  

Lisa loved all animals, giving names to each and every one. 

When not feeding her animal friends, she enjoyed playing Candy Crush whenever possible. 

She was a dedicated employee at Coaction Specialty Insurance in Morristown, NJ, working as their Director of Underwriting Operations.  Prior to that, she was employed by Everest National Insurance for several years.

Her humor, advice and friendship will be missed by all.

She was the daughter of Barbara Babicz of Chino Hills, CA, and the late Edwin Babicz.

Survivors in addition to her loving husband and her mother include one brother; Russell Babicz and his wife Fran of Chino Hills, CA, 1 niece; Kirsti Dory and her husband Ben of Fort

Collins, CO, four step-sons; Jeffrey Bymaster and his wife Mandy of West Covina, CA, Christopher Bymaster of Walnut, CA, Alexander Bymaster and his wife Christina of Phoenix, AZ and

Nicholas Bymaster of Phoenix, AZ, three step-grandchildren; Ethan, Jake and Emilia. 

Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 12pm.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment with additional visitation will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023 (time TBD) at Memory Garden Memorial Park in Brea, CA.
