Loretta Anne Kayne

Loretta Anne Kayne, age 81, of Oakton, VA passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Aarondale Assisted Living in Springfield, VA.

She was born on August 16, 1941 in Yonkers, NY. 

She was the daughter of the late Gino Anthony and Mary Caroprese D’Addio. 

Her beloved husband, Raymond Frederick Kayne, passed away in 2018 after 51 years of marriage. 

She was a graduate of Hunter College in New York, NY.

Loretta was a High School French Teacher for 23 years at North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, NJ until her retirement in 2005. 

Memberships include St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in High Bridge, NJ, the NJ Education Association, Hunterdon Garden Club and the New York Road Runners Club. She also ran the Marine Corp. marathon.   

Survivors include four children; Danielle Kayne and her husband Dave Sanders, Michael Kayne and his wife Bick, Andrew Kayne and Joseph Kayne and his wife Julia.  Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister; Jean D’Addio Many and her husband Edward Many.  Three nephews, five nieces and many cousins. 
Predeceased in addition to her husband by her sister; Angela D’Addio Sundin and her husband Robert Sundin. 

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 9am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ.
