Lorraine Lois (nee Peer) Cozze, age 57, of Washington, NJ passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.
She was born on April 1, 1966 in Somerville, NJ. She resided in Washington, NJ for the past 8 years, moving from Lebanon Twp., NJ.
She was the daughter of the late Albert and Lorraine Beam Peer.
Lorraine was the wife of Marcos A. Cozze Sr. celebrating over 35 years of marriage.
She was currently working for GTS as an Aide on a School Bus with special needs children in Washington, NJ.
Lorraine loved playing bingo and doing scratch offs. She enjoyed football, and was an avid Chiefs fan. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include four children; James Cozze and his fiancé Jennifer Dehart of Poconos, PA, Allen Cozze and his fiancé Danielle Fedorczyk of Flemington, NJ, Marcos Cozze Jr. of Washington, NJ and Ashley Cozze and her fiancé David Martir of High Bridge, NJ. Five Grandchildren; Angelina, Jayden, Cameron, Jaxon and Brielle. She is also survived by six siblings; Linda Speck Steinhauer and her husband Ron of Hackettstown, NJ, Cindy Speck Lowney of Bangor, PA, Albert Peer and his wife Sherry of Washington, NJ, Johnny Mike Peer and his wife Anna of Lebanon Twp., NJ, Lisa Ader and her husband JR of Oxford, NJ and Tammy Peer of Hamilton, NJ. Several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her parents-in-law; James and Maria Cozze of Lebanon Twp., NJ.
Predeceased by her niece; Stephanie Burd who passed away 20 years ago.
Calling hours will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 11am-12pm with Funeral Service at 12pm. All at Bunnvale Assembly of God, 285 County Road 513, Glen Gardner, NJ. Interment at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved niece, Stephanie Burd.
