Lynda C. Magliochetti

Lynda C. Magliochetti, age 77, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. 

She was born on October 18, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL.  She spent her childhood in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to New Jersey in 1963.

She was the daughter of the late Keith and Carolyn Pearce Converse.

Lynda was the wife of Archie P. Magliochetti. The couple met on a blind date and have been blessed with 57 years of marriage.

Lynda attended University of Georgia. She worked for many years as a Nursery School Teacher at Church of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon, NJ. She also worked in Day Care and enjoyed caring for children.

Memberships include Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Annandale, NJ.

Lynda loved traveling to Italy. She enjoyed renting a flat with her husband in Florence, where they would stay for month-long trips at a time. She enjoyed getting to know the locals in Florence, while speaking and reading Italian.

Lynda also loved crafts and quilting. She enjoyed finding beautiful pieces of fabric that she could create purses with.

Lynda was a true Southern Belle, and would joke with everyone saying that she lived in Georgia, but would ‘vacation in New Jersey 51 weeks per year’.

Survivors in addition to her loving husband, Archie, include one daughter; Lori Magliochetti Renzulli of Bound Brook, NJ.  One son; Philip Magliochetti and his wife Melissa of Bloomsbury, NJ.  Three grandchildren; Meredith Renzulli, Brenna Magliochetti and Cara Magliochetti.  One sister; Carol Tuggle and her husband Drew of NC. Many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son-in-law; Peter Renzulli and also her beloved grandson; Daniel Patrick Renzulli, both who passed away in December 2018. Two brothers; Bill Converse and Rhea Converse.

Calling Hours will take place on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 6-9pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ.  Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Annandale, NJ.
